August 2011

Captain Dave Antenori from Blakely Pennsylvania loves downrigging for King salmon and he loves winning major salmon tournaments. Captain Dave has certainly won his fair share of salmon tournaments, a purist at heart Captain Dave dominated the amateur division of the New York Pro Am series for many years. By 2008 he had already won the ameteur division of The Lake Ontario Challenge Cup for three years in a row.

In 2009 Captain Dave and Screamer switched up to the pro side, going up against the toughest captains in the business, he placed 2nd overall in the Lake Ontario Challenge Cup; not bad for the first year. In 2010 Screamer placed 3rd in the Pro Am Series. Later in 2010 Captain Dave placed 1st in the newly formed Atomic Challenge Cup; best out of three tournaments.

This year the team fought hard to take 1st place as the champions of the Lake Ontario Challenge Cup Series; placed 2nd in Oswego and 1st at Sodus Bay.

Captain Dave said about his impressive collection of wins: "I couldn't have done it without my Sharks." "We use Chrome Sharks all summer long when the bait is schooling, but towards the end of the summer when the loners are staging at the river mouth and getting a little angry, we switch over to the Black Sharks.

At the end of the day it is as good as it gets for a small family business up in Canada struggling to compete against the biggest names in the fishing business. We have been running Shark Cannonballs for over ten years now, and we have been blessed with having the support of the best teams from all over the world. Year after year, these guys continue to win all the big derbies, and they continue to do it with Shark Cannonballs. We are very proud to be associated with Captain Dave Antenori and Screamer, and we wish him continued success.

Thanks Dave

Best Regards
